Your Sunday picture...

The Burke: currently the biggest sand trap in all of golf

... from Notre Dame. Here's a view of the on-campus golf course, the Burke. Once an eighteen hole course, later remade into a nine hole course (ceding holes for four new residence halls), the Burke is once again under going a remake. The course is temporary closed as it's being redesigned as it cedes land once again for new residence halls. This May, both Fischer and Pangborn Halls will be decommissioned and demolished with new, larger residence halls replacing them. The Burke will also cede land for a redesigned Holy Cross Drive. Here is a view of where the club house once stood. Oh, don't worry. The Burke will once again be a nine hole course... just smaller. Enjoy, and enjoy your Sunday wherever you may be!
