Hurray!

Larson (center) with fans, Presidents Tompkins and Storch

Taking a break from the war, we draw our attention to the home front where things continue to roll on... and hurray for a young film producer! It was a night in which the Notre Dame glitterati came out in force to celebrate their own as well as rising stars in the industry. Thomas Larson, a young and upcoming producer, won the award at the Notre Dame Film festival for his short film entitled ConFISHion, shocking all, even himself, and making history as the first non-documentary short film to win this coveted award. Even though it has been declared the feel good short film of the year and a guaranteed crowd pleaser, ConFISHion will NOT be in a theater near you any time soon or, well, ever. But fear not! You can watch it right NOW in the comfort of wherever you may be. Click on the link below. On the surprise win by Larson, former President Aidan Tompkins said, "With our mullets, we may look tough and rugged (because we are), but we also possess a sensitive, artistic side. Larson gave the Gentleman’s response to the age old “brains or brawn” debate with “why not both?"

Still, other viewers wanted to share their thoughts on what will become a timeless classic of the cinema. On Larson's ConFISHion, an unnamed film festival attendee declared, "A triumph," while another uttered, "a must see." Finally, another viewer shared, "Finally, something the whole family can watch."
