Reaching new

Shaking hands now, but...

... heights. Steds is always reaching higher, figuratively and literally, and that is exactly what happened when the Stedsmen made a visit to the local trampoline park, SkyZone. The Stedsmen defied gravity, reaching new heights, all while playing dodgeball. Oh, it just wouldn't be a visit to the trampoline park if there weren't games of dodgeball were thrown in too. A pastime of Notre Dame's oldest and most storied residence since its founding in 1882, all Stedsmen throughout the centuries, love a good game of dodgeball. Matter of fact, in the early days of Steds, Fr. Sorin oversaw Steds dodgeball games played in St. Ed's Park and often refereed too. In more recent times, Steds fielded three teams for the annual RecSports dodgeball tourney, and you guessed, they brought home the championship. With the games described as a simply "friendlies" by organizers, the games quickly devolved into competitive matches... with everyone playing for keeps and the glory. But in the end, a fun time was had by all. On playing dodgeball on a trampoline with his friends, Robert Hartz, freshman and resident local, shared, "Going to Skyzone with the guys in my Hall was a great bonding experience, playing dodgeball with them was my favorite part... after winning of course."
