All Saints' Day...

Their stare is worse than their bite

... is the day to celebrate, but the Stedsmen have a zest for celebrating All Halllows' Eve, or Halloween, too. That was clearly evident this past Game Day against UNC. While going out to cheer for their football team, the Stedsmen, as did many other students, donned their Halloween costumes if not to reflect their spirit and flare then certainly to get a fifteen second shout out on the stadium jumbotron TV. And if you were there, then you saw many a Stedsmen on that TV! Some of those in their Halloween finery were these Steds juniors Jack O'Leary, Peter Ferraro, Nick Sansone, Ryan Dahnke, and Luke Bell who celebrated the day going as those lovable 80's bears, the Care Bears. Dressing as Sunshine, Lucky, Sleepy, Love, and Grumpy, these juniors stood out among their peers as they dressed in colorful, adult onesies. On going as Grumpy Care Bear, Luke Bell shared, “It was an honor to bring love and good cheer to campus this halloweekend. I like to think performing the Care Stare countless times at the game brought care, joy, and everything the Care Bears stand for into our team’s hearts which directly resulted in a win.”
