A day in the...

Showing off their skills...

... park has never been so fun, well, unless it's St. Edward's Park! It's true. St. Edward's does not belong to North Quad or God Quad rather we belong to St. Edward's Park, that green area just east of the Dome. Over time, our fountain may have disappeared, and we had to cede land for the building of Cavanaugh and Zahm Halls, but the fact remains, that the green space south of the Hall is St. Edward's Park. Amid games of badminton and corn hole, even a pick up game of badminton, cheese cake, fruit tarts, cider, coffees, and maybe a cigar, the Gentlemen of St. Ed's renewed their claim to this small tract of land as they celebrated "A Day in the Park."

On the day, Nikolai Eggleton, Steds freshman, said, "Some say having fun in the sun can’t be done in mid-November, except those people who have never heard of St. Edward’s Hall."

REDEDICATION DAY... Rededication Day, the day where the 2nd floor lounge is rededicated to the honor of Lugi Gregori, was Monday. In a moving ceremony filled with pageantry and tradition, Stedsmen past and present honored the artist, his mural, and those who have gone before us through poetry, historical readings, and personal reflections. On the Rededication Day service, Nate McKeon, Steds AR and soon-to-be lawyer, shared, "The Rededication of the Gregorian was, unsurprisingly, a glorious event celebrated with the amount of fanfare only a Steds event could stir up. The aura surrounding the ceremony was the perfect concoction of boisterousness and reverence. Amidst it all, the Gregorian glowed as brilliantly as it must have on its first day of dedication. Not a soul present doubted that Luigi Gregori himself was smiling upon us all."
