Better Pile One or...
... falling. It's still falling here at Notre Dame. Fall colors appeared late, and many trees still have their leaves. This situation was particularly dangerous when it snowed this past Sunday night. The heavy, wet snow fall collected on the remaining leaves, putting added weight on branches and bringing some of them down. Thankfully, the tree damage was minimal. But with the snow now melted, the fallen leaves can be seen again as well as raked up. Walking on God Quad, students found not one but TWO humongous piles of leaves. On seeing these two piles of leaves, Peter Raus, Steds RA and Californian, said, "I didn't, but I was tempted to take a plunge. Not once, but twice!"
