... for a major convenience. Indoor plumbing, something that they didn't have in Steds in 1882, is a major convenience. So, when it is off line, it's a major inconvenience. That's exactly what 3rd floor residents experienced for a couple of days as one of the urinals went "off line." An inconvenience? For sure. But it's a reminder that we should not take our modern indoor plumbing for granted. Thankfully, whatever work that needed to be done was done, and soon, 3rd floor residents were back to enjoying convenience, flushing to their hearts' content. On the off line urinal, Henry Bergstrom, deliverer of good news and weather on the Hall's podcast, 3rd floor resident, and frequent bathroom user, shared, "Many of us were in tears when we heard the news. Hopefully, our relief is quick and swift.”
