Is that edible...

Hobby Lobby material

or not? While it’s the day after Thanksgiving, we still may be hungry. If we came across these red berries on campus, should we eat them? Winterberry, Ilex vertiillata, is a native shrub to the area, and while its berries are a food source for some wildlife, they are poisonous to humans. So  if you are hungry and you see these berries, pass on eating them. On the winterberries, Fr. Ralph said, "I see these berries and want to eat them. They look like Christmas... so they must taste Christmas too. Sadly, these berries aren't for eating, but could we use them in making a Christmas wreath. I think so."
