Long night...

Going long: Hauling next week...

... could mean only one thing... a long haul. And that was theme of the Steds Founder's Week Dance in the semi-historic Oak Room of South Dining. Long haul truckers with destinations from Saskatoon to Cheyenne, Paramus to Coachella, Walla Walla to the Florida Georgia line, all converged in the Oak Room making it their stop for the night. In every type of flannel, dirty t-shirt, and hat, Steds long haulers took a break from their rigs and hauling to dance to the musical stylings of a playlist created by, well, themselves. Suffice it to say, a fun time was had by all. On the evening, Maddie, who was with long hauling Stedsman Jonathan Pal, (see above picture) shared, "The Steds Founder's Week Dance was so fun! Dancing to Taylor Swift with a bunch of truckers in South Dining Hall— what more could you ask for on a Friday night??” while Fr. Ralph, on his way to Valentine, Nebraska, and then on to Chardonnay, said "Don't hate me because I look good. This is for you, Brittney (Spears)!"
