The sights...

God Bless America and Steds!

... at Notre Dame are always edifying and inspiring, and the same could, and needs, to be said of its students. You never know when or where it's going to happen, but it happens everyday, and seeing these moments is one of the privileges of living among the young men and women of Notre Dame. One such moment was captured in the early morning as they were making their way to the Main Building when suddenly a Steds Gentleman was exiting the Hall with the Steds American flag in the background. On being photographed, Matt Cyrs, Steds sophomore and Navy ROTC, said, "Seeing the flag hanging proudly from two windows of our hall stirs a little something within me every time that I walk by.  It is an eternal memorial to our founding principles of life and liberty, and to the thousands who have given their everything in service to those principles.  God only knows where my future service will take me, but no matter where I go, I can be sure that the American flag will never be far away.  God bless the USA."
