Dining Out.

Keeping it classy: LimeBiking it

Even though it is still early on in the semester, matriculating students at Notre Dame like to keep their dinning options open, less the dinning hall loses its luster and appeal. With that in mind, the fourth floor RAs, Dan Riley and Patrick Yerkes, decided to take their residents on an outing to taste the fare of St. Mary's. Suffice it to say, the kids where excited, and we so excited were they that they even went and collected LimeBikes for the special outing. They were going to show up on campus in style...

On the magical evening, Chase Miller, Steds freshman, said, "I'd say the trip over to St. Mary's Dining Hall was fantastic in every aspect - the beef tenderloin was preposterously succulent and the crème brûlée practically melted in my mouth. There were even girls! And on an aside, I think I may have found myself a date to Yacht Dance."

Unfortunately, the evening soured a bit, and Miller went on to report,"However, tragedy struck later in the evening when all of the Lime Bikes we rode over had mysteriously disappeared by the time we finished the 7 course meal... so we had to walk back. Although that put a slight damper on the mood, I managed to hitchhike back to Steds with some friendly St. Mary's sophomores on their way to Notre Dame. 10/10 would go again, no hesitation."
