Fr. Ted Stamp

...for St. Edward's and all of Notre Dame! Today, at the Joyce Center's Purcell Pavilion, the Fr. Ted Hesburgh, C.S.C. stamp was issued. For the unveiling ceremony, there were remarks from Notre Dame alumna and former Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice, Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Postal Service, Megan Brennan, and Notre Dame's University President, Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C. Following the remarks, attendees has the opportunity to purchase first day of issue stamps... a must for any Notre Dame stamp collector. On the first day of issue for the Fr. Ted stamp, an unnamed Stedsman said, "I going to start mailing more letters!"
