... Squirrel Appreciation Day. Just when you thought that we forgot to appreciate a group with a special day, well, you're wrong... because we even remembered to have a day just for our furry friends... squirrels. Thanks to Julie Scott, mother of Stedsman, Chris Scott, we can remind you of this very special which we could have easily overlooked. Now, many would say that we appreciate our furry friends enough as we devote an entire day to them every week. True, but you know what, having a special appreciation day is really says it all. On this Squirrel Appreciation Day, Fr. Ralph Haag, CSC, Rector and squirrel friend, said, "Make sure to appreciate a furry friend today!"
