Thanksgiving Day, Part Two.

Petrescu: I'm lovin' it!

Wherever you celebrated your Thanksgiving, we hope it was everything you wanted and more. But for some, there were no Thanksgiving Day expectations at all. How was that possible? Because they had never celebrated Thanksgiving Day before and that was the case for freshman Vladimir Petrescu. Steds resident Romanian, Petrescu joined his fellow Stedsmen staying for Thanksgiving Day Break at NDH for the a traditional holiday meal. Suffice it to say, Petrescu jumped right in, trying anything and everything. Some dishes he liked while others, like stuffing, he did not. But what did Petrescu think of it all? On celebrating Thanksgiving Day, Petrescu said, "Thanksgiving felt like a really good practice for Christmas. It has a strong sense of community attached to it that made me feel at home even if I am thousands of miles away from my family. Oh, yes. The pecan pie is one of the best deserts I have ever eaten!"
