Being outside...

In St Edward's Park...

... in November may not be so much fun, well, unless it's being in St. Edward's Park! It's true. St. Edward's does not belong to North Quad, God Quad, or any quad for that matter. Rather, we belong to St. Edward's Park, that green area just east of the Dome. Over time, our fountain may have disappeared, and we had to cede land for the building of Cavanaugh and Zahm Halls, but the fact remains, that the green space south of the Hall is St. Edward's Park. Amid games of badminton and corn hole, even a pick up game of badminton, cheese cake, fruit tarts, cider, coffees, and maybe a cigar, the Gentlemen of St. Ed's renewed their claim to this small tract of land as they celebrated "A Day in the Park."

On having their first Day in the Park, Kyle Hill, Steds sophomore and New Jerseyan, shared, "Day in the Park was a perfect segue into the latter half of Founder’s Week, as it featured a classic 'trinity'... gentlemen, cigars, and good conversation," while Luke Guenther, Steds sophomore and Pennsylvania, added, "It was a perfect day in St. Edward's Park to continue our celebration of Founders Week. Gentlemen of all years came for the snacks and cigars, but stayed for the conversation."
