... have landed! Just when we thought we couldn't get any lazier or make the sidewalks more crowded, well, we did. Last week campus saw the deployment of Starships, an on campus food delivery system sponsored by Grubhub. Now, instead of going to the Duncan Student Center with your friends to get Chick Fil A sandwich, students will just stay in their room, ordering food, coming out only to collect the delivery at the front of door of whatever building they may be in, avoiding all exercise and any conversation. Housed by Steds in the Campus Mail Building, the Starships are deployed at 8am, passing by Steds in parade fashion, and take up positions across campus at various eateries. At night, the Starships return to the Campus Mail Building for charging at Midnight. What do the Gentlemen think of the Starships? Well, the jury is still out. On being spotted using a Starship, Logan Wilson said, "These new robots are definitely going to change campus for the better. To emphasize this point, I’ll leave you with a quote from Terminator and the great Sarah Connor, 'The unknown future rolls toward us. I face it for the first time with a sense of hope.'"
