Dinner with...

Chicken Wings: It is what's for dinner

... the President. Well, President of St. Mary's, Katie Conboy. With Notre Dame, Holy Cross, and St. Mary's students all having privileges at each others' dining halls, the Gentlemen made the track over to St. Mary's for dinner. Now, many thought that the Gentlemen went over in search of dates for the upcoming Yacht Dance, but in all honesty, their visit was for something else entirely. If not for a date, then why were they there? Simple, chicken wings. It's true. And while the Gentlemen ate their fill of wings, their presence was a bit controversial as the St. Mary's President, who also happened to be present that night, perhaps for wings too, took a picture with the Steds group rather than students from St. Mary's. Controversy aside, the wings were enjoyed and there were smiles all around. On the trek for wings, Jack Schichtel, Steds senior and Michigander, shared, “With North Dining Hall cancelling Sunday Wing Night post-Covid, the Gentlemen of St. Edward’s Hall have found a home at Noble Family Dining Hall and been graciously welcomed by SMC’s President Katie Conboy. I feel like St. Edward, a king!”
