... ice skaters! We're calling any and everyone who has a desire to play hockey for Steds. That's right. While prior experience is always appreciated, actual playing experience is not required. The intra-mural hockey season has started, and as always, Steds is fielding a team. Forced by RecSports to pair with Pangborn Hall, Steds is carrying the team, providing not only the manpower but also uniforms as only Steds can do. While the spirit is strong, the season has gotten off to a slow start with a crushing loss to Sorin/Stanford Halls. Down but not out, Steds rallied the following week, playing for a tie. What's in store for the boys in green and gold? Hopefully, a win. On the hockey season's tough start, Andrew Kurowski, Steds freshman and resident Virginian, stated, "It can only get better. After a loss and a tie, we're due for a win."
