A Gentleman and...

Back off: Kelly and the Enforcer

... his mullet. In this series, we try to show the softer side of our brave boys. Sometimes we forget, that behind that powerful and awesome mullet, is a gentleman, who like Winston Churchill, "likes the smell of powder but hates war." Here is a one of those brave gentleman, who for King and Hall, got a mullet and went off to the front lines to battle the enemy with every follicle of his being, Tommy Kelly. Before heading off, this resident New Yorker and freshman of St. Ed's shared some thoughts on his mullet.

St. Ed: How do you feel having a mullet? Was it worth the wait?

Kelly: It is not the greatest look in the world, but having a mullet right now is great. There is not a better feeling than seeing one of my Steds brethren around campus sporting a mullet. It is for a great cause and it helps make the St. Edward’s Hall community even better.

St. Ed: How does your mom feel about you sporting a mullet?

Kelly: My mother is not a huge fan of my mullet. That being said, at the end of the day… it’s for the kids.

St. Ed: Does your mullet have a name?

Kelly: My mullet’s name is “the enforcer.” That name sets the tone for what my mullet represents. Malaria fears my mullet.

St. Ed: What do you think your mullet communicates?

Kelly: My mullet communicates that I am a member of the greatest (and oldest) hall on campus. For Hall and King!

You too can do your part in this fight and not only bring back our brave boys but also free their follicles!
