A Gentleman and...

Carroll: fighting, and smiling, always

... his mullet. In this series, we try to show the softer side of our brave boys. Sometimes we forget, that behind that powerful and awesome mullet, is a gentleman, who like Winston Churchill, "likes the smell of powder but hates war." Here is a one of those brave gentleman, who for King and Hall, got a mullet and went off to the front lines to battle the enemy with every follicle of his being, PJ Carroll. Before heading off, this resident Michigander and sophomore of St. Ed's shared some thoughts on his mullet.

St. Ed: How do you feel having a mullet? Was it worth the wait?

Carroll: I feel like I look, and I’m hoping that’s good. It’s always worth it to wait MAM because I know I have a group with me to simultaneously fight malaria and bring back the eighties.

St. Ed: How does your mom feel about you sporting a mullet?

Carroll: Thankfully, my mom likes it better than my previous haircut, which closely resembled a permed sheep dog.

St. Ed: Does your mullet have a name?

Carroll: Gravity’s Rainbow. I know it’s a novel, and no I haven’t read it but  it sure sounds cool.

St. Ed: What do you think your mullet communicates?

Carroll: I’d like to think it communicates peace and love. Unless you’re a mosquito, who cower in its presence.

You too can do your part in this fight and not only bring back our brave boys but also free their follicles!
