... football program took a turn for the worse, so did our basketball hoop. Sadly, just before the A&M game, the beloved and much used basketball hoop was hit by a delivery truck. And from the look of it, it was quite a hit. Fear not! It was not a hit and run because the culprit was quickly spotted as it was parked right next to the scene of the accident. And even if the truck wasn't parked there, the accident would not be the "who done it," remaining a mystery until the Day of Resurrection when all things will be revealed. No, not at all because campus security cameras would have caught it all on video. Taking full responsibility, the responsible party apologized profusely and ensured that Hall, with its beloved friend, would be made whole again. On the basket hoop taking it on the chin, an unnamed Stedsman shared, "It's a slam dunk. That there delivery truck hit our hoop!"
