... ponders. Yes, a gentleman does many things, and one of those things is to ponder various and sundry things. And thanks to the A Gentleman Ponders lecture series, the Gentlemen can ponder this and that, academic topics or more practical ones, all in the comfort of the Gregorian Lounge. And practical pondering it was this when Braeden Benedict '19 returned home to share his knowledge and advice for those pursuing a career in medicine. Graduating from WashU in the spring, this doctor-to-be did not come sharing prescription pads but rather his insights and experiences of the ever changing process of getting into and navigating medical school. On Benedict's pondering, Nicholas Bifone, Steds senior, aspiring doctor, and resident New Yorker, shared, "There are so many good resources regarding medical school out there, but none is more impactful and relevant than the experiences of someone IN medical school currently. Braeden gave us extensive insight into the medical school application, workload, and path to specific specialties, and his talk ultimately gave me a clearer picture of my path in the near future."
