The Boys in Green and Gold: Our Pride and Joy
... so! Sadly, the Steds Inter-hall Hockey team saw their season come to a close. Being the 6th seed out of seven, Captain Brendan Avey thought that the boys in green and gold had a good chance to go far in the RecSports hockey tourney, even repeating last year's clinching of the tourney championship, but sadly, it wasn't meant to be. In the first round of tourney play, Steds suffered a surprise loss, crashing out after losing eight to one. On the season, Captain Avey, Steds senior and Virginian, shared, "Playing hockey for Steds was a true highlight of my college experience. Although Wednesday’s game was a bittersweet end, I always enjoyed lacing up the skates and playing for something bigger than myself."
