...the old college go. That's what can be said of the Steds inter-hall hockey team this year. The season started with high expectations as senior talent returned and new freshmen talent was added. Yes, the sky was the limit, but unfortunately, as the season unfolded, players quickly realized that the sky had a lower ceiling. Nevertheless, the Steds hockey team played with spirit and "gentlemanly class" that only they could bring to the rink. On the season conclusion, Nick Girardi, team captain and Steds senior, said, "When you average less than a goal a game, it’s time to hang them up. Thanks for the memories!"
