...runs really fast! Kirk Hansen, Steds junior and member of the ND Men's Track and Field team, recently ran in the 800m race at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Loftus Sports Center. Suffice it to say, attending this event was an opportunity to see some of the best athletes across the nation compete, but most of all, it was an opportunity to see Notre Dame's very own, Kirk Hansen. Hearing that he was racing, Stedsmen came en masse and watched him compete. While Hansen came within a hair of qualifying, fans were not disappointed as they saw a great race. On seeing Hansen really, really fast, Sam Bradley said, "I hear he got so fast from all the ladies that chase after him."
