… and about. With classes over, Stedsmen are free to be out and about, and so, periodically, we’ll hear where they are and what they’re doing. We recently heard from Joe Broderick in Martha’s Vineyard, but today, we head out to the Mountain West to hear from a recent graduate, Patrick Campbell ’23. Campbell is in wilds of Wyoming, exploring the Bridger Teton National Forest. Aside from a number of moose sightings, Campbell is fishing, and he has been quite successful. Campbell has caught a number cutthroat trout with his fishing rod, and how could he not as designed AND made the flying reel?! Yes, for reals! Campbell made his own fishing reel, and it’s for real legit. On the fishing with his personal reel, Campbell said, “The fish are spectacular. The views are heavenly. A truly grand place it is… and maybe one day, a great place for a Steds cabin and fishing outfit. America is truly beautiful!”
