... they're married! With Fr. Ralph witnessing and the Steds family present, Valerie “Val” Jose ’19 of PE and Howard and Parker Mathes ’19 of Steds were married at St. Francis Xavier University Church in St. Louis, Missouri. It was a beautiful and a very warm, humid day, with thunderstorms always threatening, but nothing could put a damper on this special day nor the radiance of this bride and the beaming pride of the groom. On Val joining the Steds family, Sam Bush ’19, ND football player, Stedsman, and groomsman, shared, “While only now official, Val’s history with Steds actually goes back to before she and Parker even considered marriage. As a veteran of TWO Yacht Dances, it’s with open arms that she’s is now welcomed into our family. As long as the sun sets in the west, Parker and Val will have a place to call their home away from home in St Edwards Hall!”
