Forgotten...

Hincka in high spirits...

... but not completely forgotten. Yes, a unique story of the strength and stamina of a Stedsman was forgotten, but thankfully, it was not completely forgotten. It's the story of running man, Danny Hincka, who ran not one but two events back to back this past Thanksgiving. First, Danny raced into first place in a trail half marathon. Danny finished in a unique way to say the least, but when taking the podium in his couture Steds jersey, he was all business. But Danny didn't rest on his laurels nor let the gold medal go to his head as the very next day in ran in yet another event. That's right. After running a trail half marathon, Danny ran a 5 K "turkey trot" in his ROTC fatigues all while wearing a 60lbs pack. On her son Danny completing two back to back running events, Kerry Hincka shared, "For King and Hall!"

... with smiles on the podium... 

 ...but no smiles on the second day.
