Ring side seats in the Flounge

... night in the Flounge! With many Stedsmen interested in the recent Miocic vs Ngannou UFC fight, a group gathered in the Flounge to see these two heavyweights battle it out in the ring. But there was more... how can you watch a sporting event without food? So, Raising Cane's was brought in placate the Gentlemen... less they started raising Cane. With food and friends- a good fight to watch- what more could you ask for during a pandemic? In the end, Ngannou won, but honesty, the Stedsmen really won that night. On watching the fight, Vince DiFilippo shared, "I came for the Cane’s chicken and stayed for the company. It was great to see a new heavyweight champion of the world rise to glory!" while fellow sophomore Michael Hendrikson said, "The fights were great, but what was most entertaining was a discussion among Stedsmen on how Will Dieterich could make 1% of his bodyweight nachos."

Finally, Ben Poag, Steds sophomore and resident St. Louisan, said, "Nothing brings Stedsmen together more than tattooed guys slinging haymakers and spirited conversation about nachos and competitive eating."
