... about the opening of the school year was for the opening Mass to be celebrated NOT on the first day of class but rather on its eve, Sunday. Still, some thing else that was different was for the Mass to be celebrated in the Notre Dame Stadium rather than the JACC. With Mass in the stadium, a large dais was erected in the middle of the field with mass goers in the stands, physically distanced, AND, for some odd reason, facing the setting sun. Sorry, but I wasn't in charge of that. BUT there was something else that was different. The vesting room for priests was none other than the Notre Dame Football locker room! Not missing an opportunity, Fr. Ralph made the most of his short visit to this unique location. On making the most of his visit to the football locker room, Fr. Ralph said, "How could I not?"
... but inside, he was front and center!
