... at Steds! Yes, today was move in day for Group Gold which included Steds. A staggered schedule saw freshmen move in from 7:30am to 3:30pm, but in the end, thirty-eight new Stedsmen arrived. With capable and competent hands, Alec Lis and Henry Bergstrom, at the helm with their lieutenants, Michael Lynch and Greg McKenna, and a smattering of Welcome Week Ambassadors assisting, move in went smoothly and quickly as possible under Covid restrictions. The first to arrive at 7:30am was Ryan Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia. Like his older brother, Eddie '19, Ryan will call Steds his home under the Dome and was thrilled to be on campus on what had to be the best move in day weather for the past fifteen years. On becoming a part of the oldest and most storied residence hall on Notre Dame's campus, Ryan said, "I hope to live up to the excellence established by past and present Steds Gentlemen and look forward to meeting my fellow incoming Gentlemen from all across the nation."
