Yes, Zoom, which provides videotelephony, for millions during this pandemic, especially students with in-person classes either paused, suspended, or canceled, went down around the globe. But how did our students and their paused in-person classes fare? Was it a summer snow day with classes canceled, both in-person and now on-line, or was it business as usual, pandemic style. In fact, I was in the middle of class when the crash supposedly took place and nothing happened. However, watching the frantic emails roll in from panicked professors running around like decapitated chickens was sheer comedy the highlight of my day."
