After the Welcome Soirée of Friday night and brunch at the North Dining Hall, it was time for the main event the Celebration Dinner in the Downes Club of the seventh floor of Corbett Hall. As a string trio played, moms and sons were treated to unique campus views and of the football field. Still yet, there was a photographer present to take pictures of moms and their sons as well as any desired group shot. Following dinner, a presentation was was given where Fr. Ralph gave an ever so brief harmonica recital which was quickly followed by a poignant reflection given by Gavin Cullinan on the what moms mean to Stedsmen. Later, during a talk by newly elected Hall President, Thomas Kelly, next year's Mom's Weekend Commissioner, Ryan Davey, was announced. And as the evening drew to a close, everyone was treated to a beautiful sunset. And as one mom shared, "It was a perfect ending to a perfect day." Indeed, it was!
