April showers...

Going to the lake...

... may bring May flowers, but they also bring something else. Recent showers brought about campus' third lake... St. Edward's Lake. Located on the southeast corner of the Hall, St. Edward's Lake makes an appearance after any rainfall, heavy or light. Suffice it to say, it is a nuisance as well as an inconvenience, and with rain in the forecast for the foreseeable future, the nuisance and inconvenience will continue. But why does this happen? A clogged drain? Poor drainage? Moreover, is someone working to correct this? Who knows. On the appearance of St. Edward's Lake, Fr. Ralph said, "I have been this is 'okay' because 'when it stops raining it will subside and eventually disappear.' Right."
