Your Sunday picture...

... from Notre Dame. Here's a view of the Lady Chapel of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Built in honor of Fr. Sorin's fiftieth anniversary of priestly ordination, it is home to not only a French inspired Madonna and Child, but also an original Luigi Gregori painting- the entire ceiling- depicting heaven. Still yet, it is home to an altar made by a student of the famous Renaissance artist, Gian Lorenzo Bernini. The Lady Chapel currently houses a creche scene, and it will do so until February 2nd, the Feast of the Presentation. Enjoy, and enjoy your Sunday wherever you may be!

In the Red Room will return after all the dust of Syllabus Week settles. Stay tuned because you haven't heard anything yet!
