Disaster!

A despondant Rauch

Just when all seemed merry, bright, and pine fresh, disaster struck! No alarm was given. No one saw it coming. It caught us all off guard. Yes, disaster befell us all at Steds as the 4th floor water fountain was no more. Gone is our bubbling spring of cool and refreshing water. Gone is our meeting place, our communal watering hole, where laughs, tears, and rumors were shared. Gone-of all it-gone. All we have now is a black trash bag reminding us of what once was. But if truth be told, we have something else here at Steds then just a black trash bag shroud on the fourth floor. We have a visible and palpable grief. This grief was most visible in a young Stedsman and fourth floor resident, Louis Rauch. On the lost of his water fountain, Rauch, pulled himself together and shared, "Finding out that our beloved fourth floor water fountain was broken was upsetting, but I'm looking forward to it coming back better than ever."
