Finally...

Let it rain!

... a break in the heatwave! After three days of temps in high 80's, dew points in the high 80, and humidity that would make anyone sweat, a late night thunderstorm was a most welcome guest. A classic storm with lightning, thunder, rain... and of course, cooler temps. Yes, after the front moved through, cool temps rolled in behind it, bringing relief and an easier time sleeping at night. On the rain, Alex Morrison, Steds Sophomore and Ed's Culinary Representative, said, "As if the Great Flood came again, the Gentlemen of Steds were forced to stay inside for the night.  Zeus’ bolts were striking near and far, but the doors of Steds were not ajar!" Still, Josh Blossfeld, Steds senior and 4th floor RA, said, "Nothing calms the nerves and soothes the mind like the sound of a late night thunderstorm in Northern Indiana. It really helps to relax before a good night’s sleep!"
