More football...

Marching to the right drum: Sam Bradley, Kevin McCarthy, and Mickey Dwyer

... and how could it not be? After all, there were theatrics on AND off the field this past Saturday. Of course, we all know what happened on the field, but what was happening off the field? It all has to do with a drum, the world's largest which just happens to be at Purdue. The Purdue Band wanted to bring this drum to Notre Dame this past Saturday, but there was one problem. The drum wouldn't fit using the stadium's visitor tunnel! But after Notre Dame balked at the idea of using the home team's tunnel, the dream of the drum was dead. Well, it wasn't completely dead as the Purdue Band brought the drum with them but left it outside the stadium. On the Purdue drum on campus, Kevin McCarthy '18 said, "Sam, Mick, and I woke up at the crack of dawn searching for the Purdue drum. We don’t need their drum around here because as Stedsmen we march to the beat of our own drum!"

In other news...

Our "Other Cone," Jack Buckendorf, made it into the stands with his traffic cone!
