Learning in...

Let me know when you're done

... and out of the classroom. Learning is occurring everywhere HERE at Notre Dame. And how can it not? After all, the world is one big classroom is it not? Indeed, it is. And so, learning is happening in the classroom and beyond at Notre Dame, and to see this, all one needs to do is walk down a hallway at St. Ed's. If one did, then one would might see the late night learning that was occurring on the first floor late. Recently, Sam Martin and Tin Bui took a crash course in furniture building, constructing a futon. They started with smiles, but would they last until the end? But more importantly, would their futon come to be, becoming that oasis for lazy posteriors? No doubt, it was a learning process for Sam and Tin, reading directions, matching parts, finding the right tools, but in the end, they triumphed. They learned, we did too, that they could do it. Congratulations to our futon builders and scholars! On learning that they could build a futon, Bui stated shared, "It only took half of the first floor to build the 'easy to build' futon."
