Saturday Squirrel.

Getting his greens

Walking about South Quad, this squirrel was spotted outside the Law School with a mouth full of green grass. Gorging himself like a cow on the luscious cud of South Quad? Or maybe just trying to get a bit more fiber in his diet? No, this squirrel wasn't eating but actually getting for winter. Yes, he's getting ready for winter by completing some repairs on his tree nest. And now is the time to gather those leaves, grass clippings, and other building materials to keep out those cold winter drafts. On being spotted with a mouth full of grass, this squirrel non-verbaled, "Want to help?"
