Floating...

Steds always makes...

... is back. After pandemic lockdown and last year's Covid restrictions, the Steds Float has returned to the Hesburgh reflecting pool. Gathering at what many college students would consider the crack of dawn, 8am, Stedsmen of all classes, even some newly graduated ones, returning to kick off the Notre Dame football season with this beloved and cherished Steds tradition of running through the bluest of blue waters for love of Steds, the Marching Band and ND Football. And thanks to Alec Paz, Steds junior, we have pictures to share of this Game Day sight. On participating in his first Float, Connor Cirrotti, Steds freshman and resident New Jerseyan, said, "Running through the reflecting pool has been something I’ve looked forward to since I was placed in St. Edwards Hall in July. I’m convinced it the best Game Day tradition on campus" while fellow freshman and resident Illinoian, John Digenan, said, "The Float on Gameday was something I saw on College Gameday a couple years ago, and ever since then, it has always been something I wanted to do with my Brothers in St. Ed's. Saturday was a dream come true!"
