More football.

Watermelon Moses

Yes, more football! There are many football Game Day traditions, once on hold, that are now back on with the easing of Covid restrictions. Yesterday, we heard about the Steds Float, but there are some that are still off the table, namely residence hall concession stands. But nature abhors a vacuum, and so, new traditions are quickly filling the void. One of new traditions appears to be the addition of produce to the Moses statue. Inaccurately called "First Down Moses," the statue of the giver of the Decalogue is actually called "We're Number One Moses." But regardless of what you call it, Moses had a watermelon on his finger this past Game Day Weekend. How did that happen? Well, he's not telling. Will there be a different piece of produce this coming Game Day Weekend? We'll see! On seeing produce on Moses' finger, Fr. Ralph said, "I don't like watermelon, but I love this ingenuity! I want to see more... and a pineapple too."

BUT THERE'S MORE...
