It's official! Peter Raus ’23 and Emily Zimmerman were married at Our Lady of the Assumption in Claremont, California. Only making a most beautiful day even more beautiful, this couple gleamed brighter than the sun and were ready to get married. Surrounded by their families and friends, Emily and Peter memorized and exchanged theirs vows with great emotion and happiness. As they made their exit from church, the newly married couple were treated to the pomp and circumstance of the Armed Forces.
On Emily marrying into the Steds Family, John DiLella '23, Stedsman and former RA along Peter, shared, "It is with great delight that we welcome Emily into the storied St Ed’s family. She has already displayed the patience, grace, and good humor required to thrive among us — qualities that suggest she’ll not only endure but elevate the company she now keeps.”
DiLella went on to further say, "The highlight of the Claremont, CA social season, it was a nuptial ceremony unparalleled since the wedding of renowned Stedsman and Founder's Week usual suspect, Merriweather Snodgrass, to an Notre Dame heiress, Regina Breen-Phillips in 1922.”
