Early birds got the best perches!
... game watch. Yes, it was a special game watch this past weekend in the Flounge. The Gentlemen trickled in to catch the early Noon game that, literally and figuratively, pitted the Irish against Pitt. Early birds got the best seats, see above, with stranglers finding a place to crash, but all were there to cheer on their team to a convincing and much needed win. And as they did, they were treated to Jersey Mike Subs, the perfect choice game day food, that was personally selected by none other than the man of the hour and beyond, the birthday boy, Harry Shaia (not pictured). Cheering on the Irish and celebrating the Hall's most favorite Virginian never was so fun nor tasty! On the combined game watch and birthday celebration, Shaia, Steds senior and 2nd floor RA, shared, "My birthday was celebrated in the best way imaginable- Jersey Mikes and an Irish win.”
