... was nothing but dancing, smiles, and good times on the Spirit of Chicago! Formally the Mystic Blue, the Spirit of Chicago is now the new home of St. Edward’s Yacht Dance. While the temperature was a bit cool, there wasn’t any rain nor the waters rough. It was smooth sailing! The magic started as the yacht shoved off, on time, and the song, "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems,” Fr. Ralph’s favorite song, was played. After sailing up and down the lake, the yacht returned to port at 2 am with many tired dancers. On the attending the Yacht Dance, Daniel Jung, Steds sophomore and Student Body President, said, “It was rousing success. All Stedsmen came together building bonds of friendship and great memories!"
Still, it was a very special night for one Stedsman, James Longhurst, who celebrated his 21st birthday on the yacht! Happy birthday James!
