Snowdrops are sprouting

... from Notre Dame. Should one take a walk about campus, there are many small signs that winter's grip is slowing easing. Many spring flowers, like Snowdrops, Galanthus nivalis, are pushing up and sharing their colors, giving a much needed break to the bland and bleak landscape.
