Gone...

Thank you for being there "live on tape"...

... but not forgotten. Some would say that he timed out, but in truth, he just graduated. Again, some would say that behind the scenes there were creative differences, but in truth, there was a job in L.A waiting in the wings. Still, some would that he got tired of his chair, but in truth, he said he just going to corner store. And whatever he went to get, well, In the Red Room's most dependable and Johnny on the spot side kick guest host has left. Yes, Nikolai Eggleton '24, Stedsman and native Orlando-ian, graduated, and in so doing, has brought back a flood of happy- and funny- memories over the past four years of being a part of Notre Dame's most favorite and listened to podcast.

Originally joining the cast as the Good News and Weather correspondent, Eggleton quickly demonstrated on broadcast skills, and when then co-host Bobby Weltner, C.S.C., went to the corner store and never returned, Eggleton got his big break, taking over the empty co-host chair. Since then, Eggleton has never looked back. As he leaves, Eggleton will be missed by many, especially Fr. Ralph, and passes the microphone to his replacement, Good News and Weather correspondent, Zach Zywiec, Stedsman and Ohioan. On leaving, Eggleton shared, “They say all good things must come to an end. But if Fr. Ralph ever needs a guest who won’t shy away from an open mic and isn’t afraid to address the elephant in the room, he knows who to call.”

Thank you Nikolai!
