Gala Gentlemen: Ferraro and McKenna
... the Gipper. The Notre Dame Club of NYC recently held their Gipper Gala, drawing ND Alumni from all the boroughs of the Big Apple. But this gala was particularly most special and memorable as it celebrated the 120th anniversary of the club's founding. Still yet it special and memorable as it also honored former Irish quarterback, Ron Powlus, as Person of the Year. At the gathering were, of course, Stedsmen, in particular Peter Ferraro '23 and Greg McKenna '23. On attending the Gipper Gala, Ferraro shared, "It was truly an evening to remember at the historic and exclusive Union League Club. We enjoyed reconnecting with our local Alumni community and supporting the University’s scholarship fundraising efforts! Always a pleasure to see fellow Steds alum-turned journalist, Greg McKenna, whose daily publications never fail to pique my interest!"
