They're back!
Taking a break from our furry friends, we have time to focus on some of our others friends who have returned to campus. Emerging from their winter hibernation, campus turtles are once again up and about the lakes. One of their favorite places to be is any dry log in St. Mary or St. Joseph's Lakes. Spotted in St. Mary's Lake, these turtles, as ectotherms, were unsurprisingly spotted worshipping the sun on a dry log, getting all the heat they needed for the day. On being spotted, these turtles non-verbaled, well, we're still waiting for a response! Indeed, these turtles are true to their nature... in no rush whatsoever!
