... kept, sort of. In keeping with tradition, Steds held its Game Day Float at the Library Reflecting Pool. Waking up at almost the crack of dawn and with perfect weather, Stedsmen of all ages walked to the reflecting pool. Instead of the traditional running through the bluest of blue water, the Stedsmen marched around the reflecting pool. This departure from tradition was done so as to be in keeping new policies, recently implemented. On the departure from tradition, PJ Carroll, Steds photographer and junior, shared, “There was a certain something wet missing from the first Float of the year for the Stedsmen, but that didn’t stop them from getting up and getting after it in the spirit of tradition!”
